Considering Adopting?
There is a lot to consider before adopting a new family member and we can help find the perfect pet for you. All our animals receive thorough health assessments before they are ready for rehoming. This includes microchipping, vaccinations, and spaying/neutering.
Step 1
Choose your new friend
You can start by viewing our available animals online, stop by and meet them in person, or give us a call and tell us what your needs are.
Step 2
Fill out an Application
Either online, by downloading one and returning it to us (Adoption Application), or by stopping in and picking one up in person. This is required for everyone. Applicants must provide personal references which will be asked a series of general and animal related questions as standard procedure. No one is exempt from this process and no one is discriminated against. Applications are not approved or denied by shelter personnel but by our independent adoption committee.
Step 3
Sign our Adoption Agreement
Once you’re approved by our adoption committee and have found your perfect rescue pet we will have you complete any remaining paperwork and pay the required fees.
Step 4
Go Home!
Go for a walk, play some ball, scratch a chin, pull a string, or have a snuggle. You’ve got a friend for life!
