Adopt or Foster
Adopting or Fostering a dog or cat is so fulfilling and helps an animal in need. Even if you can’t adopt, taking an animal into your home and sharing your love, even for a short time, makes a world of difference.
Be a Volunteer
You can make a difference with even just an hour or two per week. There are several ways you can make a difference; dog walking, cleaning, filing, socializing, laundry, grooming. Considering signing up as a volunteer today!
Make a Donation
Maybe you can’t adopt or foster, and can’t find the time to volunteer, that’s ok. There are still ways you can help. Financial assistance is always appreciated and needed! Any amount helps with the feeding and care of hundreds of animals in need. Recurring or one time donations can really make a difference in the life of our animals!
Spread the Word
Share our name, website, social media pages, pics of our animals! The more we can get our name out there, the more animals we can help! Don’t be shy, share away!!
St. Francis Animal Shelter’s Wish Lists
Running a shelter takes a lot of time, patience, love and of course, supplies! We have partnered with a few companies that allow us to post a Wish List on their site with items we are always in need of. Click their links and help our animals!
We Accept Stock Donations
Make a bigger impact by donating long-term appreciated securities, including stock, bonds, and mutual funds, directly to St. Francis Animal Shelter. Compared with donating cash, or selling your appreciated securities and contributing the after-tax proceeds, you may be able to automatically increase your gift and your tax deduction.
To donate stock, simply contact Kevin Bettinger at First Northern Advisors. He can assist you with your donation.
